Face it, the lights in your home office are probably great for doing some writing or computer work, but likely it's not ideal for looking good on camera.
Trust us, you'll probably want the light off your desk, so be sure to grab the floor stand for it. That's also where you'll attach your camera if you use the clamp arm option for your camera. By using the floor stand, the light and camera can be off the desk, eliminating clutter but keeping the gear ready to be used.
FLOOR STAND TIP: if your desk is flush against the wall, you may need to place the stand off to the side unless you can back your desk away from the wall about 12". If you can't adjust your desk, this will cause your camera to be attached to the light mount off to the side of your desk which may or may not be ideal. In this case, be sure to purchase the tall desk tripod in the camera section above.
PRO TIP: getting the light and camera off your desk will keep the camera and light from bouncing every time you lean on, tap, or kick your desk.
For those with a wall behind you, the small light will work, however, you'll still need the stand.
And if you have a solid, gigantic desk and no floor space, grab yourself the tabletop stand on the far right, top row.
